Hi everyone, Darryl here.
I hope people can get some useful information from this site and live a sober and clean life like I'm doing. It took me 27 years to finally decide that I needed to regain control over my life and I want to help others who want to change their lives too. You can do it if you are relentless and take action each and every day. I am going to post actual real life stories in this blog, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hopefully people will see where I was, where I am and where I'm going. There have been some big changes and I'm much happier without the booze and drugs. It's not easy but it can be done. I believe if you ask God to help you and do some simple things ie, 12 step programs, prayer and meditation, support and recovery groups, names and numbers of sober and clean people you can call, a higher power, journaling and a sponsor, rehabs, treatment programs, and service work to give back, you can stay sober and clean. Keep your program as priority #1 in your life and God will take you places you have never even dreamed about. Good luck and I'm here for you.
